To attract the best tenant possible it must be ensured that your property is presented to its best advantage and the special features of the property should be highlighted. Well maintained and presented properties attract quality tenants.
-Paint and touch up interior walls if needed
-Make necessary repairs or maintenance eg: dripping taps, broken locks, etc.
-Clean carpets and flooring
-Clean curtains and /or window furnishings
-Clean kitchen including inside cupboards, oven etc.
-Clean bathrooms and remove any mould or soap scum
-Make sure garage is empty
-Mow lawns including footpath, sweep paths and rake leaves if necessary
-Make sure gardens are weed free
-Clear guttering and drains on house
-Windows and flyscreens should be clean. Remove cobwebs.
-Touch up any peeling paint, wash walls
